I sat through that entire dogshit interview and he played coy about tour dates after all that. He did say they'll be announcing their fall pans very soon though so hopefully we get fall dates this week.

Cannot wait for this album.

 

Listening to "Sure and Certain" and "Get Right" back to back, they flow very well into each other it certainly seems like they could be in that order on the record.

This song is so 90s alt rock. I love it.

 

Welp now I'll be listening to JEW for the rest of the day. Already on track 2 of Clarity, haha.

Instantly one of my fave tracks of the year. I really like the vibe I'm getting from the lyric videos too, I hope the album artwork is similar.

Sure and Certain is great. 2/2 so far, JEW never disappoints.

 

Jimmy Eat World just feels like fucking home. They're like hot chocolate and Christmas movies and nights watching baseball with your dad and a perfect evening with a fire pit and beers and friends. They're the musical equivalent of everything that makes life wonderful.

I listen to this song for the first time and my heart is happy. That's the best way of putting it - it brings me joy to my inner being. I just love this band so, so much.

 

I would love it if that was the album cover.

 

Both single covers and videos have been beautiful. Excited for the cover for sure

 

These two songs have to be my favorite ones I've heard in an album rollout for JEW since I started listening to this band during CTL.

Hope that makes sense.

Didn't Robin say he was playing a bigger part in this album recording wise? Because it shows. The piano work in the bridge is beautiful.
