Did Jim talk about anything noteworthy on KROQ?

 

Still talking. Talking about the process of taking a break from the band for a year and how that helped to improve their mindset and approach to the new album.

 

I also just pre-ordered the vinyl, hopefully they dont release some VIP bundle that i really want too haha.

 

"Get Right" really grew on me and I love it now... but hearing this song on the premiere hit me RIGHT away in a way that "Get Right" didn't. Damn this song is incredible. So excited for this record even more now!

I don't think "Invented" even comes close to touching this song. In fact, nothing on "Invented" does.

 

"Invented" is a top 10 JEW song. Given their track record, this probably won't even be the best song on this album. (It is a really good song though, don't get me wrong.)

Jim was talking about the meaning behind the new record and the host was like "wow that's deep. I didn't think you'd say something like that." Just totally sarcastic and rude lol

 

basically made fun of the meaning behind the album title and said something like "Wow this guy's been in therapy"

 

He was basically ridiculing Jim for making a 'deep' sentiment and saying he should go to therapy.

 

this is already one of my favourite jew songs.

No tour dates announced. Jim said they'll be releasing tour dates "very soon."

He said it's about kind of...emotional compromise....expectations vs. reality of what you want out of life.
