Stoked to play Ratchet and Clank all weekend JFG

 

Will I be able to get the ratchet and clank “launch edition” in store on Friday or do I have to preorder it and wait til early next week to get it

 

Man it's been almost 20 years since Ratchet & Clank first came out. In all that time, no matter what other trends came and went in the industry, Insomniac has never forgotten where they came from and has never once given any indication that they're "too mature" to continue making those kinds of games (see: Naughty Dog). Even with the wild success of their Spider-Man games, they devote one of their two teams to making a brand new Ratchet game for the fans who've been there since 2002 (and earlier than that, for those who played the Spyro games on PS1). I can't wait to play it.

Please please release all the monster rancher games in the US for current consoles.

Those were the two I had in my party for like 98% of the game, they were my favorites

 

Man I’m so happy that we’re actually having a centralized weekend for game news again after how annoying last summer was with all the different events and no way of knowing when things were getting announced.

I much preferred getting announcements all through the summer/year. It always kept things interesting and there were a ton of cool indie games released.

 

E3 does have its own appeal though.

 

Having grown up watching every E3 conference religiously when they aired on G4 and Spike, i happily welcome it back

 

as a kid on summer break, e3 on g4 was a sacred day

Yepp. My tradition every year since I was a teenager was to order enough Chinese takeout for lunch and dinner, kick back, and watch the entire day's worth of conferences. As E3 started to get broken up across several days, that obviously became impossible to do, but man it was the best.

I'm just so happy everyone came to their senses and did what I wanted them to do last year, which is to organize a virtual E3 across a set period of days when we get all the announcements. There was no hype last year, this year the hype is back. It rules.

 

Seriously miss the days of no responsibility, and just hard chilling all summer with G4/my Xbox. E3 days were truly magical during the G4 era.

 

Back when, it used to be so much fun in these threads when we’d all watch E3 and post/nerd out about the conferences. Those were the days
