I know it’s hot everywhere. It’s been like 95-100 here all week. Half of these schools don’t even have AC. Bummer for the kids though because they just said fuck it and ended the school year early without any warning lol

 

Yeah this absolutely could have happened to me as well. Other than common areas and the computer lab, none of my schools had air conditioning

 

Yeah the heat has been brutal here for days now. Reached 100 in my car yesterday, and 47% humidity ain't helping

It's wild to think that so many schools don't have air conditioning. I know my high school had AC on the first floor but the 2nd floor didn't so it would get pretty gross in those rooms. I guess in northern states there is only the chance of really hot weather in the first month of school and the last month or two, but still baffling that children are put in those conditions.

 

I tried going for a run outside last Friday while it was in the 90's; mistake. Even after two cool showers I had trouble cooling down the rest of the evening
