Gutted the The Acacia Strain and Harm’s Way tour ain’t coming through here but that BDM tour is stacked as fuck so I can’t complain

 

Where should I start with Rivers of Nihil? I have not checked them out yet. I'm not too big on Carnifex or After the Burial, but The Black Dahlia Murder and Undeath would be fun as fuck.

 

Already annoyed at living in Florida when it comes to tour dates. Seattle had it good.

Yeah I've only heard Where Owls Know My Name but that's a damn good album

 

Thanks. I avoided them for a while because the first time I heard their band name mentioned was when they were playing with Oceano and I really dislike that style of deathcore so I unfairly assumed they were in the same vein. I'll check out that album in a bit.

There were only 25 four packs of that Frozen Soul beer available at the release last week, but they put out 10 more today and I managed to snag one!

 

How's it taste?

 

I'm keeping the 4 pack as is, but I've had it on tap twice now. It's really good. It's an Imperial Milkshake IPA brewed with blueberries, raspberries and graham cracker crumble. I'm not really an IPA guy, but the sweetness from the fruit balances it out so it's not overly hoppy for a 10% ABV beer.

 

new deafheaven tune is very good but it's gonna annoy a lot of people

 

I am glad they dropped the black gaze. They are in the realm of post punk, shoegaze and Alt rock now. First single is good.

 

It's like Alcest meets American Football

 

i'm into it more than anything they've released since sunbather. i'm glad they finally decided to leave the blackgaze behind if the whole album is like this.
