I think they are going to have trouble filling it for SS but I could be wrong. The product has been awful and SS hasn’t ever been in that big of a venue. Given it’s on a Saturday I can see a lot of people coming from Phoenix and LA, but still 65K is a lot to sell out for a non WM event.

 

People might be starved for live entertainment though, so it might draw a bigger crowd

 

Oh, no way it sells out. But I think any venue past their usual like 15-20k basketball arena would have been a tough ask this year. Maybe I'm wrong and wrestling fans are desperate, but feels like even bringing back Brock, Edge, etc...I just cant see them selling a ton of tickets

 

Exactly. I’m surprised they didn’t go MSG or at least a baseball stadium that’s a bit smaller. A football stadium in a city that isn’t known for huge wrestling events is puzzling especially when they don’t have anyone who is super over or any storylines that can draw that big of a crowd. Like you said bringing Brock and Edge back isn’t enough. I think the new stadium in LA would have been smarter if you’re gonna do a huge venue.

 

Word is they're running Cena vs. Roman. That should help.

I assume they might also try to do Lashley/Lesnar. Those two would help draw a lot. Weird this they want they show to end early due to the boxing match and it starts at 5. I figured they would at least start at 4 for such a big show.

 

Dave said the show is starting at 8 Eastern and ending before the Manny fight so people can get there in time. Gonna be a record short PPV lol

 

Why arent they starting at 7ET like they have been for a bunch of shows?

Too bad Andrade couldn’t keep his fire ass WWE theme. That was a very lackluster intro to him. If I wasn’t already a fan why would I care about that debut. At least we know he will quickly win people over.
