Conte is an excellent manager, the facts are there, but the idea of "I can't win immediately, so I'm not going to try and build something that can" is... very juvenile/entitled.

In fairness, with Conte's recent record, why should he expect to join a club who needs a rebuild?

 

Also, depends what he's been told privately about Kane. As much as Spurs have said he won't be sold, if the club think privately that he could start throwing a fit over the summer and trying to force the club's hand, I could see the job becoming a lot less attractive to Conte.

The fact that like the 6th/7th biggest team in the country can’t manage to get a manager tells me that something is putting everyone off.

It’s got to be that they have literally no money for transfers unless they sell Kane? Knowing that Spurs have a big debt from the stadium now, plus Covid, could it be that they won’t even get all of the Kane money if he goes?

 

I view it as personalities differences between Conte and Levy. I think Conte saw how/what support Mourinho received in his years there and fears the same for him. Whats the point.
