woah, what made you decide to make what big of a jump down?

 

Just wanted to try out a small phone again - I did miss being able to do everything with one hand haha

 

New Apple TV remote rules.

Was having some trouble navigating with the touch pad going up or down when I was trying to go left or right and vice versa so I set it to click only and now it’s perfect. Love that it’s a good bit thicker too.

 

I'm still on my XS, but I've tried the 12 Mini inside of the Apple Store. Let me tell ya... if there isn't a mini with this year's phones, I'll just get the 12 mini

 

I'm sure they'll be a 13 mini and I think if Apple improves the battery life it'll be a big hit

Braided solo loop literally makes me forget I have a watch on my wrist. I have to physically look to see whether I remembered to put on my watch in the morning

Buying the apple pencil was the dumbest thing to do as a parent. Had it for less than 2 weeks before my oldest kid lost it... that was 2 months ago now. We're getting ready to move so we're cleaning/organizing like crazy and still haven't found the damn thing.

Will we or won’t we see 14” and 16” MacBook Pro’s with M1X/2 at WWDC next week.

Lots of rumours are flying about at the moment.

 

I am *fairly* certain we will see both of those, but I doubt we'll see an M2, as it hasn't even been a year of the M1.

That said given how slow adoption of Apple Silicon has been, especially in the pro space, I think it's too soon for these, unless they act as some sort of catalyst that accelerates app development.

Countless VSTs/Plugins, Figma, Dropbox, Plex, Facebook Messenger, Discord etc. haven't been upgraded yet and it's getting to a point where it's both frustrating and embarrassing, even though Rosetta is admittedly barely noticeable.

 

There was a pretty strong rumour that the M1X/2 was hitting production in July so I think it would be a given if they were to be announced but I guess we’ll see.

I think it’s obvious at this point that the bigger iMac will be the new ‘Pro’ model featuring the M1X/2 otherwise it would have been announced with the latest iMac refresh.

 

I’m hoping that Apple introducing pro models accelerates some of these companies’ efforts at updated plugins/apps

Upgraded my iPhone X to a 12 pro (in gold) this weekend and it’s pretty as hell.

I love the shape of the iPhone 4, so glad they returned to something like that. Also camera upgrade rips, low light photos not looking like shit is major

 

How do you feel about the difference in camera?
