How? Like legit, how? Dude doesn’t have control over a military that could perform a coup anymore and it’s pretty obvious at this point that he has zero legit legal recourse to reverse his getting voted out. That said, it is kinda watching him flail like a headless chicken over potentially getting what’s coming to him (keyword potentially) and thinking that is what is going to save him.

 

Like that’s exactly why he’s been doing this since he lost, he genuinely believes that’s his get out of jail card like a child. Also, the Dems technically have the majority power in Congress so what would that get him? They could actually remove him from office via impeachment this time.

I am more than a little worried that people like Bannon, Flynn, etc. al. are putting it in his ear that they are recruiting members and thousands of people are ready to take up arms and etc.

Like, I think right now the current attitude in America is that it's like a .01% chance of happening and my (admittedly very risk adverse, very glass half empty self) thinking is it's more like a 5% chance of happening. Which is insanely high.

The problem is this though, we’re talking about a country that’s prioritized the military over its people so therefore it has an insane arsenal of troops, weapons, combat vehicles, and drones. Hell, that’s not mentioning satellites tracking people or even tech we don’t even know about yet. It’s a war that cannot be won by a civilian army, it’s not Vietnam where you’re fighting in an unfamiliar land and people can just hide. It’s a total losing battle and as much Traitor Flynn and those sycophants wanna beat the drum for a civil war, they have to know deep down that’s an impossible goal to win.

IDK, maybe I’m looking way too into this right now.

Yup, my cousin is one of them. He was there for the insurrection on January 9th, though sounds like he never went full on insurrection with the storming of the building. According to my brother who talks to him, he reported it to his CO and his CO made it seem like no big deal.

Ton of former military or military guys have ties to the militia groups. Same cousin was taking pictures in front of three percenter flags at the Capitol.
