Found out what I paid for my one bedroom Chicago apartment is the same amount my parents paid for the giant four bedroom house we had growing up in Indiana that my mom sold because it was too expensive.

Biggest part of the housing crisis is all these huge houses that no one will be able to afford, let alone want to live in.
