So it seems the rumour about the new MacBook Pros getting announced at WWDC is hotting up.

 

I hope the AirPods gen 3 as well, my gen 1s are still fine but it would be cool to upgrade.

 

I’ve never had AirPods before and want to finally grab a pair, but I refuse to do so until the new ones are out lol

So it turns out Jony Ive was involved in the new iMac design. Am I the only one who thinks it’s weird his new venture doesn’t have a website or presence in any form online?

Butterfly keyboard?

 

I feel this pain a least twice a month. I have to charge my mouse on my lunch...

 

I never got the issue, since I always charge it over night when it drops below 12%, but it also takes like 3 minutes to give you enough for an entire day of work. And my last mouse had to be in a weird charging cradle to charge anyway.

 

they did this on purpose because they didn't want people to use the mouse wired. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

also I know this is a reductionist view of design but I was mainly talking in terms of aesthetics.

 

I mean, yeah, Apple’s products are always aesthetically pleasing, but most of the issues people have taken with their late Ive-era design is that they sacrificed function for form in quite a few products.

It’s pretty evident they’ve been doing some course correction on just that over the last two years.

 

I usually only get an alert when the battery low so I mostly forget haha.

 

iStat menus can create custom notifications for Bluetooth battery levels, so you can choose when they go off. It’s kinda cool.

 

The only bad design in recent memory is the butterfly keyboard - glad it is rotting in hell

 

I just had my butterfly replaced under the program. So far so good on the new one, but I went 2/3 years on the first one no problems too.

thankfully it’s a work machine, so they’ll set me up w a new one before my keyboard fails again based on the first timeline

 

Just got the new Apple TV remote but can’t connect for some reason. I keep getting a prompt to bring my remote closer to the Apple TV but not recognizing it no matter how close I bring it.

anyone hear of this issue or know how to work around it?

 

I’ve used QuietScrob for a long time and it’s great for scrobbling songs in your library. It now works with none library tracks as well, which is the best I’ve seen for Apple Music.

just wanna give a huge thanks/shout out to apple watch and the 'ping my iphone' feature bc my phone slid out of my golf cart yesterday and would have absolutely been lost forever in the thick grass forest green side up had i not been able to drive around pinging it for 15 minutes lol

I exchanged my 12 Pro max for a 12 mini and lemme day I’m in love with this device
