    Oh no Pulisic!

Aguero coming on. Can he? Will he?

In fairness, this is the least Lahoz I’ve ever seen from Lahoz. He’s letting a lot of challenges go that I’d expect him to blow up for.

Controversial post coming up, you can easily see why Pulisic doesn’t start the big games for Chelsea since he’s come on. Undoubtedly a good player but he’s far too casual on the ball to be starting.

How does Fernandinho escape so many fucking booking?

  7. Flipping between this and the Bucks game has led to a stressful yet exhilarating afternoon

Chilwell has been the one weak link in the Chelsea side tonight

Rare for him from what I’ve seen this season

He’s a good player, just not at the high level of the rest of Chelsea today. Walker has had him on toast a few times. I’m a bit shocked that City didn’t attack down that side more often.

City really need a good striker.

Overthinking it… again. Changes the team that won him the league to play no cover in midfield and they concede directly from that. He’s in his own head.

I was trying to describe myself to someone

Fair play Chelsea. Absolutely miserly in defence. Gave City nothing at all.

Which is more impressive after they lost Silva early.

There’s something funny about Pep absolutely fucking it in the final, when they are CLEARLY the best team in Europe. Think this might push them to pay for Kane.

    hmmm

One manager overthought it, one manager didn't. Tuchel didn't have to do a great deal tonight - he set up his team exactly the way they needed to be and made the sensible changes at the right time. They more than deserved it; they could have won by three.

Guardiola in Europe again. Up against a team who want to counter attack through the middle? Play a wide back four, push the full backs on, leave the centre backs 2v2 and don't start either of your usual holding midfielders? What?
