I’m watching Back to the Future 2 for the umpteenth time and only just realized George McFly was assassinated by Biff on Mark’s "first birthday."

Worst. Present. Ever.

The coolest part, I suppose, is hearing one's birthday in a Back to the Future film. At least most of the trilogy takes place in late October / early November, right around my birthday.

 

Even if they never play together again it makes me happy that they’re on good terms.

 

I said "show", not tour. And I'm not holding my breath, but I'm not giving up the idea that it could happen either.

 

The Blinkumentary is still my top most wanted leak. I was so into it back in the day. And I would love to see more live footage and any studio footage they have. Even if it’s awkward lol

 

I'd definitely watch the Blinkumentary if it was to ever leak, obviously. But man, it must be a real doozy if everyone involved was like "Actually, nevermind..."

 

Wonder if Tom ever watched it.

So it’s confirmed that Travis doesn’t sleep, right?

 

New Blink album 2023? Just kidding. The other artists Travisbtends to work with don’t really interest me (nothing against them). So is serving as a studio drummer or helping with writing/producing these songs?

 

I believe he’s producing/drumming on Jxdn’s album. Same with KennyHooplas EP that comes out next week.

 

Then entire Travis perfecta is happening with the MGK, Jxdn, KennyHoopla tour in the fall.

Literally should just call it "Travispalooza".

 

He'll play all three sets with drum solos in each one. 52 dates. In a row.

 

And we’re lucky to get 75 minutes out of Mark

 

Yelawolf will be playing the parking lots on that tour at this point lol

 

With blink not playing any shows in 2021, is there a chance that Travis plays on that tour?

 

I hope so. I haven’t really seen anything about it one way or the other.

 

@Jason Tate how do you determine the trending threads in the newsletter? This Blink thread was listed and it was basically…dead this past week.

 

An old live video surfaced last week. Originally, 4/3/1998 was considered the first show Blink played "Mutt" at, but they play it in this video which was almost a month earlier so now my faith is being questioned and shit.

 

I don't remember the exact algorithm off the top of my head, but it's something like find the five most replied to threads that were created over the past week, and get the five most replied to threads total in the last week. Something like that.

 

Pre-1999 shows are so wild to me. So many Cheshire songs. Dammit in the middle of the set. Minimal banter
