Press release from Guerrilla confirming that while they don’t have a confirmed date right now, development is on schedule and to expect an update soon. Make me hopeful it’s still this year, fall release date announced at whatever Sony’s inevitable summer showcase ends up being would be my guess.

Personally loved the first one, but was worried a sequel might’ve been a little too much more of the same, especially with this being a cross gen game and the limitations that can provide. Thankfully the footage we saw today quickly made me feel foolish for having those doubts, the upgrades to traversal through the addition of the grappling hook and paraglider as well as the improved melee combat are great ways to plus up the two worst aspects of the first game. Facial expressions/dialogue flow both seem better as well, but that’s something we’ll need to see more of to get a better grasp on.

 

Finally finished Mass Effect 1 and whilst i was really involved with it i felt it was slacking something. Liked the mechanics, the graphics (although i never played the original) and the story but sometimes it was just overwhelming getting all the equipment and having nothing to do with it after a while.

Excited to start the second one - lot of good reviews saying its better in every way.

 

I think I'm towards the end of Days Gone. PRetty 50/50 on it. The biking is fucking obnoxious, but the story is pretty good. A certain scene with Boozer put a big smile on my face.

 

I loved "Days Gone" and wished I had gotten it sooner, though the last act was a little lacking. Still, pretty fun game overall, especially dealing with the hordes

The recent addition of gliders to every open-world game is a welcome one.

 

Ubisoft having a countdown that led to another 30 minute countdown for their Far Cry 6 stream is ridiculous.

 

they’re gonna micro transaction for people to watch the reveal after that countdown ends

I got the first few Far Cry and GTA games a while back, but I have pretty minimal interest in either franchise. Are the earlier ones worth playing? They look pretty dated and don't seem to be very story oriented.

 

Far Cry 5 was boring AF

 

There is a cult following of FC2 among like developers, it’s an odd game

 

I definitely think the peaked at 3

 

gta San Andreas and gta vice city are worth playing

 

Blood Dragon is absolutely worth it

 

Couldn't wait for Griftlands to come to console in a couple weeks. Got it in steam. We are talking DECK BUILDING ROGUE YALL

 

Finished Spiritfarer. Game got me really close to crying, about a dozen times. Definitely up there with Child of Light, Gris, and Ori.

 

Looking forward to this.

Anyway, so I'm checking my Steam account, and it looks like I have FC 1-3 and Blood Dragon, and GTA 1-4, Vice City, and San Andreas.

Are these the only ones worth playing?

 

No 3 is also great! I also enjoyed 5 for what it was
