All I want from the horizon forbidden west state of play is a release date. They had me at the first trailer last year. I’m buying the game regardless

 

Dying Light > Horizon

You're right. One is good and the other is mediocre.

 

Never cared for the first dying light. Loved hzd so I’m going with horizon on this one

 

Real gamers know

 

Horizon Zero Dawn was fine. Some great parts, but probably around a 7.5 for me.

 

HZD is the better game to me. But I had infinitely more fun with Dying Light.
Probably my favorite zombie game of all time.

 

Damn these creature and enemy designs are incredible

 

I liked both, only parts about DL I didn't like were the last boss fight and if you started the bozak horde dlc and wanted to do something else, you were hindered

 

The co-op aspects in Dying Light and The Following were so so fun.

 

I have a group of friends that I've pretty much only ever played zombie games with online. We met a longggg time ago in World at War zombies. And never really played any other "genre" together.

played L4D together and L4D2. Then Dead Island. Then Dying Light.

So I'm very nostalgic for these games. Already planning on doing DL2 in December.

 

Horizon had too much downtime and boring moments between story points. Riding around a giant empty map that took you ten minutes to get across.

 

Oof no release date. Pain.

 

me: I should play horizon zero dawn it looks fun

also me: remembers I only like playing games from the old era like right now I’m playing psychonauts and gta san andreas

 

The grappling and gliding look like very fun additions

 

The environments and action look awesome, but man those character models are weak and there's something real off about the lip sync.

 

Forbidden West looks amazing. Again I really don’t think it’s gonna make it this year. I’ll be happy if it does tho.

 

It should come out next year so this can be a surprise year for Knack 3 to be the best of the year.
