If I don't listen to the album all the way through I go back to SOOHM the most. It's just fun and catchy as fuck.

I really enjoy Sober a lot lately too.

 

That stretch of Cynical through No Future is what I return to the most when not listening to the whole album

 

Cynical, She's Out of Her Mind, No Future, Teenage Satellites, San Diego, Left Alone are probably my tops in no specific order

 

I was just looking at setlist.fm at old Blink concerts I'd been to, and I just noticed this one:
blink‐182 Setlist at E Center, West Valley

I don't have any memory of them playing it at that show, but holy shit! (You'll know it when you see it)

It looks like they also played it in Portland a few days later, but that's it.

 

Wow. I saw that tour, but the oldest song we got was M+M's.

Most proud of having the only post-hiatus performance of Apple Shampoo

 

Yeah that's definitely a strange addition. I really wish I could have heard them play Wasting Time or 21 Days live. Also Waggy and Apple Shampoo.

 

Wasting Time would be legit.

 

I want to hear them play First Date!!!! That would be so cool!!!

Reading that magazine I had a work. The "imposter" graffitied one.
It's a Travis interview. Interesting that he says he fought for San Diego, SOOHM and Sober. Arguably most people and my faves on the album. Surprisingly that without him fighting to keep them on the album that would've be there

 

The album would be so much weaker if those songs were missing

 

That's amazing. Oldest I got was carousel lol.

 

Yeah but maybe they dumped 3 even more awesome songs! But hey, Sober and San Diego are two favorites. San Diego is probably the best Tom-free Blink song.

 

Skiba's part in the bridge of San Diego is one of my favorite moments on the album. The guitar on that part sounds so classic blink to me.

 

Which is ironic because San Diego is about Tom.

 

It comes full circle

 

This guy at my work wanted to learn more of Blinks older stuff, so I burnt him a mix. He comes to me today and says " I need to thank you...Stay together for the kids...my parents got divorced When I was 20 and that song said everything I never got to say. It's so personal to me and I think this may be my favorite rock song ever now."

I love how music can touch people.

Started out with 30+ I had to trim out a bunch to make room. Some songs deserved to be on this more then some others, but I was trying to keep in mind the songs he liked off California/other bands to make it towards his tastes.

Solid list right there. Can't really argue with anything on it. No Buddha or Cheshire Cat songs though? The only songs I would probably include from those albums would have been Carousel, M&M's, and Wasting Time.

I'm actually in the process of making a Blink mix to listen to on the drive to my concert this week (my friend's car doesn't have mp3 hook up). I'm trying my best to trim it down but I still have like 35 songs and need to cut out probably 10 or so.

 

Love that the author wrote Skiba looked like he didn't want to be there which HAS to be a Tombot troll job right there.
