It wasn’t Ghostface’s best work nor my fav collab, but I always thought that record he did with BADBADNOTGOOD was a little underrated. I wish they’d collab with more rappers, they’d mesh really well with a lot of the more up and coming crowd

Can't believe I forgot about these ones. I also really like Revolutions per Minute.

 

If we're counting producer/rapper collabs as collab albums, that makes this a nearly impossible task. There are SO many. But I think I'd place Black Star and Madvillain near the top. Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan's Tha Tour Part 1 would fall on that list. Common's Be. Deltron 3030. Blu & Exile.

 

Be wasn't just one producer IIRC

 

Best collab album for me might be Key! - 777 with Kenny Beats or Super Slimey

 

Super Slimey isn't even Thug's best collab album

Super Slimey is very uneven but the high points are very high

 

That Nas/Marley album wasn’t that well received back then. Never really understood why.

 

Well I don’t really count Tha Tour pt. 1 as a collab album in the same sense. But it basically is idk.

 

An album by a rapper and a producer shouldn’t be called a collabo album really, it used to just be called a rap album lol

 

Black Star is probably the actual one true answer

 

A recent good collabo album that way too many people slept on was that Birdman x Juvenile album

 

Black Star is great not really what I’m reaching for these days tho

 

Key Glock & Young Dolph - Dum & Dummer is up there too

That Jada x Fab one had some good songs, that’s also not that long ago

The Quelle Chris/Gene Grae album from a couple years back is another solid one that comes to mind. I also used to love this one from a while back.

 

Fairly Odd Parents and Jimmy Neutron shits was classic
