finished Camp Cretaceous season 3 and it was a solid season I’m really curious with how it ended since it’s canon to the movies so how much are they going to keep canon

 

I've been watching Big Shot on Disney+ and I would highly recommend it. I am really enjoying it and it keeps getting better and better each episode. First 6 episodes have been released so far

 

Actually opened this thread to ask if anyone was watching! I’ve seen mixed (leaning towards negative) reactions from women’s basketball fans so have been on the fence about watching. Might jump in this week

 

Just finished For All Mankind. Back half of S2 is great. What a finale.

 

Was just coming here to say that I just finished season 1. Really excited to dive into season 2, I’ve heard a lot of good things.

 

I also just finished season 1 of For All Mankind lol. Fun that a lot of us are watching it at the same time. I see the s2 hype train got to us.

 

I’m on the Invincible hype train now. I hope you are all happy.

 

For all mankind is a lot of fun. Some of the writing is bad but I really enjoyed.

 

i agree but then it has these remarkably uplifting moments that I’ve never really experienced from a show before. It’s really strange. I wonder if the writing team is at odds with each other from time to time as a result of this.

I also feel like the show is missing an obvious opportunity to go up a level simply by letting whatever song/tone is playing during the intro to carry on through the title sequence. it’s such an abrupt mood killer when it cuts from a dramatic or uplifting opening scene to that boring title music.

 

My wife and I started watching Cruel Summer last night. We're three episodes in and it's...fine/watchable. The acting is pretty horrific and if it takes a weird supernatural turn, I'm gonna be pretty pissed, haha.

 

The two characters sleeping with each other in Season 2 of For All Mankind made me want to stab my eyeballs. Seriously a horrible writing choice. But they still managed to finish on a high note.

 

I would fall off my couch if that were the case

I don't think it would take that turn, but the ending of Episode 3 (i've only seen the first three) Jeanette was talking about how she felt like she 'set off something evil' and it didn't feel right while in the basement and something in my brain sparked a fire that it may lead to some weird supernatural twist, which I really hope it doesn't.

 

haha. couldn't agree with you more. It baffles me that this existed in the same show/season that also delivered the family moment in S2 E3 & the finale.

 

And they say romcoms are dead. That feels straight out of a romcom mad line book and I’m extremely here for it

 

Netflix’s play for the Hallmark crowd is just as hit or miss as the Hallmark channel in quality. But I’ll watch them with Mom all the same.
