really? the Chicago date is now Riot Fest? I bought a Riot Fest ticket for Sunday the day they're playing... but I also have a ticket from last year as well. would much rather see this show in a club setting instead of a festival one but okay...

 

The list has Riot Fest on both 9/18 and 9/19. They’ll probably do a club show on Saturday night.

Looks like a tour around March 2022. They announced a NYC headline show last week or so.

 

I forgot I purchased a VIP to this show. It's gonna be a fun time. Can't wait

They changed the poster and took off the 9/18 date. Guess they'll wait until the rest of the Riot after shows get announced haha

 

My roommate and I are actually going to be in Orlando when this tour comes through, so I'll be seeing it there!

Might also go to the potential Chicago club show on the 18th too!

What's up with Simple Plan?

 

Well now I don't feel as bad for missing this tour and missing out on seeing Simple Plan for the first time. However, they really need to release their new music soon. I figured something would be out for the tour, but now they aren't touring.

You have to wonder if this kind of thing will become more frequent with how COVID is getting again, even with vaccinations and everything.

They're still playing Riot Fest, according to the Riot Fest twitter account.

 

I get the feeling NFG isn’t requiring band and crew to be vaccinated. Could be why Simple Plan decided to do the one show vs the whole tour.

I would have gotten a kick out of seeing simple plan once but dude less than Jake?? Amazing. My only fear is that I wish this switch was earlier so we get more of that punk ska crowd.
