I remember loving polygon when it launched but damn I've never seen a site collapse in on itself like it gas in my life.

 

I don't know, I still enjoy a lot of what they share and the commentary provided. I just don't understand how a site, which I feel was created to have those pointed discussions, attracted such an awful audience.

 

honestly i thought polygon has improved. the comments on IGN and Gamespot are WAY worse

also i will say besides the social related stuff, when it comes to gameplay/characters, sometimes the FemFreq people make really dumb/questionable comments

 

I just started playing a month ago and now I'm obsessed. Really fighting the urge to spend a ton of money on it.

 

I played through the Final Fantasy XV demo. The audio design for Noctis running is pretty crap. Sounds likes plastic bags rubbing together coming through my front speakers and not even the right levels. Gameplay seemed just like how I remember Kingdom Hearts back in the day but less interesting. Basically the demo was kind of blah, but I'm still excited for the main game.

 

Is the demo much different than the one that came with Type 0?

 

Very. It's not the same. It's not meant to represent the actual game though it's completely separate. A different story and the game play isn't the same either. I think the first demo represents the game play that will be in the main game. This was super simple

Yeah you play as kid Noctis stuck in a dream. It's very Kingdom Hearts like.

 

It sort of felt like a tech demo with the weather and time of day stuff.

Level 37 looks like an awesome sweet spot. I guess I'm doing True Vault Hunter Mode.

Speaking of MOBAs and online games in general, Borderlands is the only game I've had minimal negative experiences with. The worst thing anyone's done is kick me out after the loot dropped. League is the absolute worst in terms of community, but even with games like Hearthstone and Magic Duels, where you can't even talk to people, just the fact that there's a meta makes it shitty.

 

That's pretty much all I ever use, ha.

 

I'm going to try to get back into gaming in the near future. Picking up a PS4 in May (for Uncharted).

Anyone play Until Dawn or the Division? Opinions of the division for a single player?

Can't wait for FFXV. Can't believe it's been 6 plus years since 13 came out.

I watched some of until dawn as I said... Couldn't continue though. Made me feel sick. Horror just isn't my genre ha

 

Do you say watched because it is similar to Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls in terms of gameplay?
