Yes, everyone is allowed to have opinions. As we’ve all stated ours, on many things, time and time again.

 

I like this album, but I hear what you're saying because I won't put it on unless i'm up for the full ride. The same is not true of tracks from the first (3) albums.

 

this. i think i connect most lyrically with virgin and SM. i was invested in the story on black mile, but kinda checked out for this one.

 

I think this is probably going to be the norm, to be honest.

Maybe not ~concept~ records, but thematic records.

 

The older I get the less I care about lyrics.

 

im very into thematic records tbh. the theme on this one is sold very well. most bands don't put enough care into sequencing to give us a run of obstacle-the way back-the internet

I disagree on that. I think lots of bands put in just as much care with their lyrics/execution/themes/vision/etc.

 

i agree on almost everything except sequencing

 

That’s not me saying everything they put into albums isn’t good or anything, just that many other bands put in just as much if not more as a whole in their album execution and I don’t think MO is doing anything that puts them in a league of their own.

 

Okay I’m 99% certain METN is the best late spring/early Summer album.

 

just based on bands being a little smaller than MO that I think would mesh well for a tour that have put out albums the last couple years: Tigers Jaw, Citizen, Touche Amore, Seahaven, O'Brother

 

I’d be very down with O’Brother again. Seen them together in 2010
