Kane leaving, and seemingly the start of a rebuild, is an even bigger reason to hire Rangnick. He is the best man for that kind of job. I’d feel much better about the team bouncing back with him than with any of the others.

 

Also, hiring him makes it more likely we bring in Patson Daka as a possible Kane replacement.

 

Honestly I feel sympathy for Spurs fans. We’ve (mostly) all been there, where your best player wants to leave and it’s absolutely gutting.

 

I think all the papers being on their knees praying for this to happen for the past 3 years, and now it seems like it will happen, is what makes it worse for me. I've said it before, but no one wants Kane to leave more than Sky Sports.

Best signing of the season and just an immense player that filled the void that Kompany left. I still have trouble believing he is only 24 years old. Not even into the prime of his career age wise yet.
