The first 3 Scary Movie's had some good gags in em. The police officer's hat getting bigger and bigger in Scary Movie 3 is such a funny visual for me lol

  2. Scary Movie 3 is so fucking dumb and funny lol. The hat scene, the 8 Mile gag where kevin hart uses a paint roller on a dude on a bicycle, Anthony Anderson (blech) cocking his shovel. "Tom, I'm gonna need a ride home." All amazing bits. RIP Leslie Nielson

  3. I saw Scary Movie 4 in theaters with my mom (embarrassing, I was 11) and King Kong wasn't in it lol. Very dumb movie that I wouldn't mind revisiting for nostalgia at some point. At least one funny bit where Anna Faris leans on the knife in the dude from The Village's stomach while trying to console him. Feel like Scary Movie 5, Epic Movie, and Disaster Movie are closer to straight-up not existing

The Wayans’ Scary Movies have not aged well at all. I learned that the hard way watching it with some friends.

I remember the one directed by the “Airplane” guys was funny. But I have no urge to find out if it still holds up.

Not Another Teen Movie a bad spoof movie that was actually funny during the hollywood parodying everything for cheap comedy years

I won’t say Scary Movie 3 is GOOD. But there are some great classic dumb gags in it. Having a Zucker direct was a great call

They're all obviously problematic but still had some funny scenes. Like the first one def had some homophobia from what I remember. Though the dude where's my car tattoo gag they did did make me laugh back then when I was like, 15 lol. I'd have to go back and watch it again to see how problematic that scene was. I think the one guy acts grossed out IIRC.7

I remember liking the first few scary movies but eventually they went from spoofing and making fun of horror movies to focusing just in cultural references as the main jokes.

    But its been forever

Poor baby, you're starting to lose it.

Scary Movie 3 rules. Too many so-dumb-it's-clever jokes to name. Having the Zucks step in was a good move.

Conservatives are famously bad at comedy. Comedy is about questioning norms and poking at society while conservatives are about preserving the status quo. Liberal humor is hit and miss but leagues better than conservative comedy.

No, there are plenty people who are conservative (or at least definitely not liberal) who are funny. It’s just that their kind of comedy is not defined by their conservatism. Most political liberal humor is trash too, it’s just that the liberals tend to have much better production value

Definitely enjoyed Saving Silverman as a kid.

Another Steve Zahn joint, Strange Wilderness, does not exist though.
