I feel like there is a bit of a sea change occurring on Israel/Palestine at least at the cultural or media level. Is it enough to change the direction of things? Prolly not. But “ISRAEL GOOD” is less of a consensus position rn than it’s been any other time in our lives. I think that’s the result of a lot of movements focused on liberation that have sprung up over the past decade. And the fact that there’s even a modicum of internationalist sentiment is, as someone who thinks the most depressing shit was the complete collapse of an anti-war movement in the US between 2009 and now, extremely cool. Hoping we can build on that movement.
