Uhm has Blink played "Don't Leave Me" on tour? They played it at soundcheck today.

 

Not on this tour but I did hear them play it with Skiba at Musink. Don't Leave Me/Going Away to College need to replace Dysentary Gary/Reckless Abandon imo. Better songs and they're Mark songs

 

"She's Out of Her Mind" is very catchy but I can't shake this nagging feeling that, lyrically, it's a less overtly sinister "Dumpweed". It's 2016, we don't need any more pop punk songs about girls being crazy.

I've literally been involved with 3 crazies in the last 3yrs and I'm sure there are girls who have the same issues with loopy dudes. People can relate

 

Have they been playing longer on other shows? I did think it felt really short

 

But this song, at least to me, is about being in love with the craziness. It's not in an overly sexist type way. Hell my fiancé is diagnosed bipolar and we jokingly call that my song for her

 

It's 2016, and people are still offended by blink-182 lyrics.

Funny enough I think it falls at the other end of the spectrum and it's just a horribly written song about a manic pixie dream girl trope. It crosses beyond enjoyable cheesy and corny into just plain bad. It's probably one of the few times I'd actually say they're too old for that, or at least the way that they did it. Even by Blink standards, they could have done way better. It sounds like a 16 year old wrote this and maybe that was their goal but it's still awful.

 

Offended? Nah. It's boring. It's tropey.

It is very catchy.

 

Me too. It's a blink-182 song. I want something catchy that I can sing along to and have a good time. I'm not looking for this song or any of their other songs to change the world.... (that's for Angels and Airwaves).

 

Looks like they played "Don't Leave Me" last night. First change to the set list in the last few weeks

 

Hands down one of my favorites from the album. I find myself going back to Cynical and SOOHM the most.

And yes, let AVA do the revolutionary, "moving forward", new sound thing :P

no idea, i had figured that they had been playing the whole 90 min set. 75 minutes was even generous it was closer to 70 minutes. not sure who that was doing the drum solo at the end. cool tho.
