the melody of the 'look like you could have been in faster pussycat' and to a slightly lesser extent the title phrase both remind me so much of something but I can't put my finger on it

Anyone here listen to Webbed Wing? They definitely remind me of Weezer a bit.

Really into this album. I've listened to it every day since release. Haven't done that with a Weezer album in awhile.

Happy 20th birthday to The Green Album, my favorite Weezer album. So many vivid memories with this album. It came out when I was 14!

Green Album and Take Off Your Pants & Jacket were the soundtracks to my life freshman year of high school. One of the first songs I ever learned on guitar was Island In The Sun too.

In the dark age of Weezer, I probably wouldn't even have put them in my top 20 bands. I feel like they're somewhere around top 5 now

I don't think it's quite as good as White, but far as just pure enjoyment that's what VW feels like for me, I love it

there has never been a point of my life when they haven’t been a top 10-15 band for me.

even in the rough years, it’s not like blue pinkerton and maladroit weren’t still out.

Up through Maladroit I def had them up there but they just bummed me out those years even if I loved a few songs on every album, and probably talked myself into liking those albums more than I did. I was late to a show they opened for blink and it was the era when they had Josh on drums and were jumping on trampolines and shit on stage, and I honestly didn't care that I missed them. It sure made me sad to not love them for some years though
