I need to figure out what powers/weapons I really like because the ability wheel in the first game is a little wonky and I'm not enjoying that part. Doesn't 2 become much more streamlined?

 

Yes, as someone who's only played two, ME1 is taking a long time for me to get used to.

 

So its normal for ME1 to take a while to get into? Feel like I'm being info dumped on the Normandy and the Citadel and I've hardly moved forward.

It’s a follow up to a conversation we were having earlier.

 

It doesn't help that a lot of the planets are the worst things to traverse across with a land vehicle. So many mountains you have to climb up or go around.

 

Once you become a Spectre and get the Normandy it opens up quite a bit.

 

It was only a matter of time before Xbox started to unveil their Bethesda exclusives

This Epic vs. Apple lawsuit revealed that Sony basically makes developers pay them money whenever developers sell a copy of their game (and/or extra in-game purchases) on Xbox/PC/Switch/Whatever in order for Sony to allow them to implement cross-play for said game. This is the company you guys were idolising vs. Microsoft for "cultivating relationships with developers"

Also this is not me saying anything about Microsoft being better (or for that matter worse) so don't start with me

 

The last year has definitely shown me Microsoft is my brother in gaming (with Nintendo already, of course) while Sony is the snake in the grass

 

Definitely a bad look for Sony. Tho the only thing being reinforced for me is Epic is just chasing clout. There’s no need for them to keep going after Apple. There was something in the transcripts of the case that someone was trying to have them acknowledge how the outcome of the case could make things very difficult for smaller devs on Apple/Steam platforms. Epic doesn’t care.

Plus the whole trying to pit their young, and impressionable fans on Apple with the tweets/weird aggressive mocking ads video they made. Apple is Apple, and they’re not the good guys by any means. Though Epic trying to play the underdog is so lame.

The Microsoft review of The Last of Us 2 was pretty funny

I never thought I’d buy a Microsoft machine again but the combo of Game Pass, Bethesda, and the fact I can play the new Horizon on my PS4 makes me think I probably will choose it over the PS5.
