I don’t know why Carragher and Neville are so insistent that was a penalty? Bailly won the ball and any follow through was from the Liverpool player getting there a second late.

I love Pedri and Frenkie. I think it kicks ass that Dest is there, too. Araujo/Ansu Fati have a lot of promise.

But none of them is *that player* in the way Messi, Iniesta, Xavi, Busquets, Pique, Mascherano, Dani Alves, David Villa, Suarez, Neymar, Pedro, Jordi Alba are/were. Which, is what Griezi and Dembele were supposed to be; but they're not quite there yet (and don't think they will be while at Barca?). It's just weird to ride a transition from a collection of some of the greatest players to ever play the sport to the next generation.
