Listening to Cope for the first time in a while. Top Notch is still a kick-ass opener.

 

I haven’t been following the vinyl posts in here but did anyone else’s deluxe pink and blue come completely clear?

 

I’ve seen some posts about this, but I don’t know to what extent the issue is. I have yet to get that variant delivered yet.

 

So i looked at the plastic wrap and it was marked as milky clear. So i emailed second city.

but also this band has six albums that I’d class as ‘very fucking good’ at minimum so I get it

 

Yeah I saw some posts about this on Facebook the other day. The Moon White version also came clear.

 

The standard is just ‘milky clear’.

Not entirely sure how or why.

 

Either I have to quit being stupid, or the band just has to break up now.

Cope has some solid tracks on it. Top Notch, Choose You, Every Stone, Cope and After The Scripture are all great. It has to be one of the worst-sounding records out there though. Everything is so damn muffled together and so many songs lack clear distinction or punch because to it.
