I almost pulled over when I was driving when Ego came onto the 12th anniversary episode of CBB. So damn funny.

 

The latest ep of PODKast killed me with all of the musical confessions. And Flyleaf’s “I’m So Sick” still slaps and the rest is pure trash.

 

Bob Odenkirk, Lily Sullivan and Griffin all on CBB - what a lineup.

 

If you can find the Ben Stiller Show somewhere, Bob Odenkirk, Andy Dick, Janeane G, and Ben made a great show for like 10 episodes or something.... quite funny for the time (IIRC)

 

All of them (plus David Cross) are also in The Cable Guy! It was wild watching that last week after not seeing it for 15 years and recognizing so many faces.

 

Kyle Gass too!

 

Jim Carrey’s in it too.

When he came out, I thought he was ok, kind of annoying, but he grew on me (like umm.... Christopher Eliot a la David Letterman) then something happenned with Andy Dick... and that was that.


Cable Guy was an awkward movie, right?

 

please do not compare andy dick to Chris Elliott

 

I’m happy to hear John Mulaney is doing shows again post rehab, but very gutted to hear about his and Anna’s divorce.

I just hope they both are doing okay.

 

Looks like it was one sided decision

 

That absolutely sucks and her saying "John has decided to end our marriage" sounds like it wasn't amicable. What a rough situation.

 

Don’t want to speculate because it’s none of my fucking business but I have more than one person I know who’s ended a relationship after getting sober because they either thought it was better to make a clean start or they thought they didn’t deserve their partner and in both situations it was a big mistake. That’s all.

 

I didnt mean to compare the two of them. THey are certainly not the same.

But Andy Dick was a side kick to Ben Stiller. The one that Ben played off of, the one that got made fun of.
CHris Elliot was a side kick to David Letterman. The one that David played off of, the one that got made fun of.

They were different characters and people but they were still the ones that got the short end, but the laughs.

Im sorry I didnt explain myself better. Andy Dick is a jerk, sure.

“Nothing is off limits in comedy” is the worst thing to ever happen. You can be funny without being directly racist.

 

I would say “Read the room,” but the room seemed to be, sadly, on board.
