“/trust” is a really great song. Finding new things to appreciate on this album constantly.

  4. I don’t really care about scores and am not very good at predicting them, but I did not see that one coming at all. Good for the Gami

We reach for the longest shadow

Didn't pay this much attention Friday with ManOrch and Gojira, but I dig it so far. Crazy how an album can remind me of pop-punk/easycore, Joyce Manor, and The Fall of Troy all wrapped up in one album.

  6. written by someone who I don’t hate, fantastic

Yessir, this is doing the all the right things for me

  8. Drewski

    Maybe so, maybe not.

I would kill for a few extra measures of that tapping/drums wig out at the end of "Caught in the Moment." Soooo good.

Really? I feel like every "emo" (or adjacent) album on Pitchfork these days gets somewhere in that 7-7.5 range

    Ugh, I hate America. Supporter

    Can't believe there isn't a video for
    Footloose Cannonball Brothers
Such a bop and a perfect radio rock anthem sound.

Can't remember the last time I came across an album that I just want to repeat again the moment it's finished like this one.

Really helped me get through a shitty week. Gami gang 4eva.

I listened to this album like three times over last night when I was finishing my course project, definitely gave me the extra push I needed

    Favorite songs:

    Kno U
    Caught In The Moment
    Self-destruct
    Bossa Nova Corps
    gg
    Footloose Cannonball Brothers

This album definitely has some good energy

Yeah I think I’m pretty comfortable saying gg is not only their best song by an unbelievable margin but is probably also my favorite song of 21. It gives me the same feelings that end of reel does closing out goodness (I know I know)

    Yeah gg is too good.

Funny enough, some of the melodies in the beginning remind me of Dendron and the chorus could've came straight from a Yellowcard song

I get some piebald vibes in the back half — especially blanket statement

It’s funny you say that, I was hearing some piebald in his vocal delivery on this album but couldn’t put a finger on why.

Probably not a popular opinion but I don’t think they were quite ready for a double yet. They’re a great band but this album feels like a little bit of a regression

Current top 5, in no order:

    Self destruct
    Mobius chicken strip
    Nothing fence
    Kno u
    Caught in the moment

Changing every day though. This album is incredible.

Have you spent much time with it? I felt that way at first but each time I am getting more on board. Somewhere city is near perfect but I am definitely starting to come around more to some of the songs I wasn’t into the first go around
