Just noticed that @domotime2 and I have the two pitchers that threw no hitters this week (Means and Miley) and we're facing each other. Kinda interesting.

 

Imagine if no hitters was a category...and in the end we still tie at 1-1

 

Tough look when I basically rely on Devin Williams to get me my 1-2 holds each week...but the Brewers have yet to win a single game this week as a team lol

 

Alright, with Kelenic apparently getting the call this week, who should I pick up for my NA slot?

I'm looking for whoever will help more this year, but we can keep guys for 3 seasons in this league so I'd be able to have him for the next two years if he works out.

There's some bats out there I'd consider, but a couple of hte names JUST got snagged up actually and my offense is already killer, it's my pitching that needs some help so.

 

well, I picked Logan Gilbert and now he’s getting called up too lol. Now just gotta figure out who to drop and then I’m gonna snag Gore tomorrow

 

....still haven't figured out who to drop. McLanahan, Duffy or...maybe one of Lux/Andrew Vaughn? It's a keeper league though and I don't have a ton of depth...maybe I cut ties with Lamet now that he's only throwing 2 innings a game? lol

 

lol I have Plesac so that's cool but as good as he is tonight this might not even make up for the atrocious 0.1 IP that Will Smith saddled me with today

Sean you gotta limit transactions my guy, I figured that'd automatically be turned on with our categories. Allow like two add drops per week.

Offensively, We have 5 running categories and two % categories.

Defensively, we have 6 running categories and two % categories.

you're better off dropping your bench every week and just cycling guys that have games scheduled.

No offense to my main man @koryoreo who is just taking advantage of a gap in the rules but generally speaking I've never even heard of a league doing category standings and not limiting add/drops per week for that very reason.

 

I had no limit on transactions because of anticipated Covid issues and/or injuries. I didnt want people to get the shaft like 5-6x in one week because of some covid mishaps.

If thats something I can modify in-season, and we get a majority vote on it, I'm fine with it.

I'd be in favor but I think 2 a week might be too strict, I would think 4 a week makes more sense because I do understand Sean's original reasoning where covid or injuries could knock a lot of your team out and need you to make a lot of moves. 4 moves a week is enough to ensure that no team will be getting hurt too much by injuries or other issues, but prevents them from making moves everyday just to give yourself an advantage in certain categories.

Absolutely zero things wrong with taking advantage of it. This league was set up fast and I don't even blame Sean for not thinking of it lol.

 

It wasn’t anything intentional for the most part. My pitching sucks so I’ve been scrambling/gambling and Lance Lynn, Byron Braxton, Acuna, Realmuto, Altuve and Bregman have all been injured this year at some point. I’m down for any rule changes if that’s what you guys want.
