If Arteta does get sacked, imagine you’re a manager, both Spurs and Arsenal come for you. Who would you chose to manage?

I think I’d say Arsenal. Spurs are a better team now but the opportunity to work with the young players Arsenal have is a great pull. There’s a decent team creeping around there at the Emirates, it’s just not there this season and I don’t think Arteta helps.

  3. Sessegnon, Skipp, Parrott, Cirkin, Devine, Scarlett are all very promising young players we have. Plus the England captain.

I mean Arsenal have a list about twice that length most having extensive premier league experience that the Spurs kids don’t.

    It's all hell.

The only way Arteta goes is if KSE do it as a PR move to get some good will from the fans off the back of the Super League fiasco.

Some good young players there for sure, but our young players are Saliba, Saka, Smith Rowe, Martinelli, Balogun, plus promising players in Kido Taylor-Hart, Azeez, Patino and more.

There’s a lot wrong with our club but very few clubs can match our current crop of young players. Hale End is mad, it’s just a shame the rest of the club isa mess lol.

This is actually why I think he could go. KSE will consider it at least, for a quick PR boost.

This is your life, are you who you want to be?

I think he gets this summer and the first half of next year. If the results are the same I'd bet money on a manager change before Christmas.

I know it's a joke but a ban for Arsenal would come into effect the next time they qualify for Europe. Dynamo Dresden was banned for 2 years in 1991 and that ban is still in effect, because they never qualified since.

    It's all hell.

Woke up feeling really down this morning because of how bad Arsenal have been this season.

It's mad how your mood can be so intrinsically linked to some stupid football club you have absolutely no control over :crylaugh:

Decoupling my mental health from my sports teams is some of the hardest “self-care” work I’ve ever put in. It took years, but I’m glad I did it. In some ways, it helped me come to enjoy certain sports a bit more. (My collegiate American football team resembles Arsenal in a lot of ways; traditional powerhouse with an amazing history, very hard recent struggles.)

But I also have to say, being let down by something that you do for “fun” that has traditionally not let you down over your life, is the absolute pits. I was just thinking yesterday how I wish Arsenal did well again. The EPL is so much better when Arsenal are good.

I couldn’t understand why Aubameyang was brought off to be fair. But yeah AFTV is absolutely awful for those lads and it needs to stop. It was funny initially but it’s just kind of scary now.

Madrid have put Hazard up for sale.

    They’re definitely going for Mbappe.

  20. Why do reporters ask managers who have a current job about speculation of another team wanting them? One, they aren’t going to openly admit if they’re interested. Two, if they end up taking the job, the paper will just call them a liar for initially saying the standard answer when asked previously.
