The Air Up Here’s reprise -> crescendo over everything. A very high bar to clear.

 

Not sure I get the comparison at all besides both being long lol but that’s pretty rad of him

 

These guys were not on my radar until now, but I’ve been listening to this and the previous one a ton (whenever I’m not listening to Manchester lol) and loving both albums.

 

It is really funny to listen to quiet hours now in retrospect. This was the last type of record I expected they’d make back then lol. Pretty much a totally different band

 

Why does the "I know that we'll be fine" outro of Mach Bike give me Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons vibes?

 

This is becoming my go to workout spin, gives me so much energy

In Medias Res still absolutely holds up. One of the truly brilliant albums to come out of the scene era

I don’t usually like lyrics like these but I feel like ryland pulls them off super well on here. It’s definitely his best work in that regard imo, and vocally too

 

Never heard of this group before last week, but the recs here turned me on to it. Absolutely rules.

 

I just listened and I really really loved this. It's such a good time and it's length didn't bother me. There were plenty of moments that stood out to keep it exciting until the end.
