All 3 singles have been absolute bangers. Really excited for this one.

They've clearly been listening to a lot of French Disco House.

I'm ready for this. Never been a big RB fan aside from a handful of songs but all pre-release songs have resonated pretty well with me

This is excellent. If I hadn't played the hell out of the 4 pre-released songs I would've been absolutely blown away, especially after always being pretty apathetic to their vibe.

Alternating between this and ManOrch today. Both are bangers

Really loving this one. Super danceable, filled with fun riffs and hooks. Happy to see them put out something on par with their first album.

i generally like the bands they’re associated with but this seems so manufactured for radio rock that it’s endlessly dull

  14. I remember the sudden hype when they released those first few singles, then LP1 did absolutely nothing for me and LP2 felt more of the same. I feel like injecting some dancier and poppier vibes worked in their favor this time. Still, it ends up being formulaic and I'd rather listen to Death From Above 1979 if I'm looking for stuff in that vein, but there's one or two songs that will be on rotation.

I don't agree with the dull part but it's definitely their swing for some more mainstream success. It reminds me a lot of Arctic Monkeys when they released AM - not in how the record sounds but just the sudden focus on immediate polished rock songs

Just did my first listen through and love this album...can be a little repetitive but at the same time feels like I can turn on any track and pump up the volume

AM, the worst arctic monkeys album, is still infinitely better than this

This album has been on repeat all week for me. Probably my favorite album of the year right now, and I wasn't a big fan of theirs before. A nice surprise.

I'm a huge fan of this one too. They really nailed the sound change, so many of these songs are massive earworms.

    The rivalry is back on

Yeah I like this a lot. Clicks for me a lot more than their last album, but I probably prefer the debut. Specifically seems good for throwing a few songs on a playlist because it gets pretty samesy with 9 of these bangers in a row (although all are good)

Immensely boring for me, and not nearly as solid as some of the tracks on their last two. Meh.
