We reach for the longest shadow

So the back half has almost as many explosive moments as the first half? Maybe the songs aren't as driving all the way through, but I'm not quite seeing the loud/quiet side 1/side 2 a lot of people are talking about.

I mean, maybe you’re right in terms of the ‘moments’ but overall sound is very different on both sides.

Guys stop talking about What's The Story, there's a lot of amazing new music out today and I don't want to get distracted by existing greatness.

Granted I was listening while doing stuff but my only nitpick with “The Internet” was that it just abruptly ended. Honestly thought my phone stopped playing the song at first lol

Isn't at least one of the Gallagher bros anti-mask? Half of America would love that and eat that shit right up.

I don't find the 2nd half of this album to be as slow as others have pointed out. Obviously, it slows down. But i think most manchester albums get slower/more experimental as the albums go on, no?

Outside of cope, that ones kind of an outlier.

The funny thing about it is that Cope is overwhelming the most ‘hated’ (least liked is a better way to say it) MO record, but I see more people bring it up than almost any other record.

That living rent free in your head thing or whatever.

Cope was the first album cycle after I got into the band, so there's some nostalgia there
