On a side note, the new Royal Blood absolutely fucks. I've been jumping between that and MO since 6am

How would you compare it to the prior two? Not listened yet. Loved the debut but didn't enjoy the last album at all.

Angel of Death is such a banger. damn what a song. a bit surprised at how lowkey the 2nd half of the album is. i think i dig it but need more time

You'll probably like it. It's definitely a more engaging listen than the last album. Very clean production with lots of little details added in. It's not just riffs, singing, and drums. They bring in some more instruments here and there too, most notably piano and some synths.

I'd say it has potential to be up there with the first one if not better. The riffs are creative as hell and absolutely killer, the hooks are just earworm after earworm.

It doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it's groovy and, like I said, an engaging listen.

I'd weirdly say it's more immediately enjoyable for me than the new MO, but MO is far better overall. I need some time to really digest it whereas RB is just pure fun jams.

Another comparison: more early Muse vibes, less car commercial vibes.
