So about the ape with the sizeable dong

 

i went without listening to keel timing and telepath until now. wanted to wait until the album came out. i lasted until i had 12 hours left. i am the worst

 

I will admit, my first listen I was a bit bummed that the rest of the album wasn't like that. It's still fantastic.

People are really right in saying it's two halves. Telepath is the transition track to the more mild stuff although Dinosaur still goes pretty hard at one point.

 

Didn't know there was a Slayer cover on this album tbh

 

I am waiting for the album to actually come out like a #truefan

Album is great, meh on "Keel Timing" and "Dinosaur", also like the 1st half more.

 

I thought of Relient K too, on those songs, but was reminded more of the last track on Forget and Not Slow Down.

 

Oh fuck that comparison alone upped my hype.

 

Surprised at how downtempo most of this is, I still don’t really like Keel Timing but I dig pretty much everything else on first listen

My store order still just shows "shipped" with no tracking, so it's safe to assume I'm going to buy another copy locally tomorrow because I'm an impatient dummy.

 

I could listen to Dinosaur over and over x8.
