  1. It’d be weird for Southgate to leave right before Euros so I don’t think it’ll actually happen.

I probably butchered the spelling of his last name.

I see there is a premier league hall of fame and I agree with both inaugural inductees but why no Giggs?

Edit: also just googled Ryan giggs and woof

Anyone had a look at the fan vote for the remaining six players? I'm surprised at the lack of goal keepers. There's only Schmeichel in there.

Wonder how many times Owen will vote for himself. Anyone know which 6 they'd pick?

I reckon Schmeichel, Scholes, Terry, Cole (Ashley), Drogba, Vidic for me. I do think they could have maybe broadened the list out a bit here. Feels like they've mostly picked from one generation of players and a lot who are known for being at the same clubs. Surprised not to see more mid/late 90s Leeds representation.

I want to see Ginola, Rob Lee and Garry Speed in there as options. Where are the pro shithouses like Tim Cahill and Craig Bellamy? :crylaugh: And what did all the goalkeepers do wrong? Van Der Sar, Cech and Seaman not deserve a mention?

    It's all hell.

Think Tony Adams should definitely be inducted at some point. Captained a title winning Arsenal team across three(!) decades.

Scholes should absolutely be the next inductee though.

Everyone on Twitter is "tactically voting" and choosing their teams players then one or two that they feel wont be voted for that much to try and guarantee their players get in. If United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea fans all vote for their guys then Les Ferdinand & Matt Le Tissier, wouldn't that mean Les Ferdinand and Matt Le Tissier get 4x more votes than their players and are more likely to get in?! Or am I just being stupid?

That is a pretty illustrative example of the intelligence of football twitter...

As much as I REALLY don’t want Chelsea to win the CL but it would be fecking hilarious if Tuchel wins the trophy against PSG in the final.

That has to mean Jesse Marsch is moving up to Leipzig from Salzburg. Though I have seen some push back from Leipzig management that this is not done deal and they are exploring other names.

So... Everton are allegedly in for Coutinho. I hope not.

  14. This is no surprise. He has a great situation at Leicester and he can afford to hold out for an even bigger job than Spurs imo.

At this point it's ten Hag or bust for me. Potter would be fine but not exciting.

I know that money is obviously the main factor, but why would anyone ever want to leave Ajax for Spurs? Especially when Spurs scoring a dubious 96th minute winner kept his current team from being in the UCL final, haha.

Ornstein today has said they are looking at managers who don’t have a club, or wont have one come the end of the season. Not sure who that rules out but it will be interesting.

He also said Spurs have basically no money for transfers this summer unless they sell.

  18. Well good thing we have about 10 players that need to be sold

Problem is Levy won’t sell them unless he gets his value

which is always higher than it should be

    hmmm

    Allegri
    Rangnick
    Benitez
    Howe
    Sarri

    All currently not in positions.

Rumours yesterday of Sarri to Roma and Allegri back to Juve. I mentioned it the other day but Rangnick would be funny. Would love to see how long he lasts without clashing with everyone.
