What’s the verdict on The Show this year?

 

I downloaded it with game pass on my OG Xbox One and the frame rate is shit.

Patiently waiting for an update to address it, but kind of wondering if my Xbox just can’t handle the game.

Apart from that, it feels like it should be great.

 

Hmm I have an XB1 too lol I’ve just been super excited to finally play a baseball game again but that doesn’t sound great

I played 3 games in franchise mode and it literally seems like I’m playing and a decently fast flip book setting lol

I am wondering if I need to adjust some of my TV settings to make it work or if it really is the system.

If you have game pass, it’s a low risk decision to just download it and see how it plays. Weirdly enough, I haven’t seen too many people complaining about the same issue outside a couple replies to a Reddit post about it.

 

I do, but the Xbox version is free and I plan on getting a ps5 soon. Didn’t wanna pay nearly $100 to get the multigenerational version so I can upgrade from PS4 to PS5 when the time comes :(

Yeah same for me, its gonna be several years before i even consider upgrading to the new xbox or ps5. I can get by just fine with RDR, My existing assasins creed games, and zelda on my switch (which will eventually get a sequel that wont require buying a new system)

 

I still gotta finish my careers in The Show '14 with Brewers pitcher Wolverine Wasiloowski and Red Sox shortstop Vladimir Winkelsas

Damn you can get Ultimate Pass for $1 for your first month and even then it’s only $15 after that, much cheaper than just buying the game lol
