This will be an incredibly Arsenal way to lose a match if they go on to lose it. VAR takes away a penalty (it was a dive, but given) for an Pepe’s elbow being offside and then concede an own goal by the keeper letting the ball run through his legs.

Well.

Went to the protest but left during the start of the match because I’m still not hugely comfortable in crowds.

Atmosphere was strange. Obviously driven by anger but actually the crowds were very friendly and it felt like a positive to see how many felt like I did. The crowds were HUGE and stretched around the streets around the stadium.

Missed the first half but the second went exactly as I suspected it would. We struggled to create clear chances, and couldn’t finish the ones we did create.

Also how the fuck the as that offside, in any universe?

 

Yeah I saw more people not wearing masks than I would like which very much informed my decision to leave a little early.

No, and it shouldn’t be. This season hasn’t been acceptable, but it’s hard to know how much is down to having a shit team that has had ZERO investment.
