Is that game any good?!

 

it's surprisingly addictive. i played it for like 4 hours after i downloaded it. it's pretty fun! i've gotten 1st place and i've gotten 100th place, all within one sitting. keeps you humble, haha.

 

Returnal is going to bring Rogues to a new level and I'm pumped for it. Hades already did a good job of it and this will take it even further.

The Hades comparisons are comical imo, the gameplay has to be inspired from Risk of Rain 2 and I don't think I've seen a single previewer mention it haha.

Yupp lol I was watching a review earlier and they were like “I don’t think I’ve ever seen these mechanics applied to a 3rd person shooter”. Meanwhile the whole time I’m just thinking “this looks like higher quality RoR2”.

 

Yeah Returnal looks cool as hell, maybe I'll get it when I pick up a ps5 in like 4 years time.

 

There is a new report that came out that says there should be more PS5’s very soon. (Not holding my my breath but hopeful)

 

Finishing up some steam backlog before I dive into Nier and The Show

 

Also realized today I had like $85 in Microsoft rewards from god knows what :D

 

Microsoft Rewards is the best program. I don’t even pay for Game Pass because of it lol

Also, my Series X came today, but I wasn’t allowed to lift it so I had to phone a friend to set it up for me. Excited to dive in haha

 

I had absolutely zero interest in this game and didn't like the concept/look of it, but this video from reddit of this fast travel animation and the map system makes it seem really cool. Definitely getting some Metroid vibes which are much needed these days.

 

i still think some of the art looks death stranding rip but it still honestly looks dope

 

Given what’s going on with the supply of chips, I doubt it sadly. It seems to only be getting worse atm.

 

Comes to GamePass next week!

 

Downloading the Show. Kinda wish this was on PC GamePass as well but oh well. Ready to play some baseball

Damn. That’s a lot. I think God of War had like 270 the year it came out

 

I personally don't think it's deserving of that many, but it's up there with God Of War and Witcher 3 now I think.
