there are times, to be honest, that i wish i just stayed with the first airpods. i have had more issues within 1 year of owning the pros (fit issues, connection issues,) than i ever had with the originals.

 

I actually completely forgot about that feature and now can listen to music while working without turning it off every 10 minutes when my fiance wants to talk haha

 

Transparency and Off sound exactly the same to me ‍♂️

 

My wife told me she heard a huge difference, so maybe my ears just suck.

I think WWDC will decide whether I get the new iPad. If it gets Mainstage and Logic support then it would be a huge gamechanger. I dream of a reality where I can use all my third party software instruments that I have already on an iPad for live performance.

 

Yeah that M1 chip in there must mean some major iPadOS changes are coming?

 

Why?

 

I just think the line will continue to blur between iPadOS and MacOS as its power increases. Initially the iPad was more of a big iPhone but I think it’s getting closer to the Mac each year.

Interesting! Honestly I would have thought with all that power a sort of OS progression would be underway for the more powerful iPads.

Wild the 1/2tb versions of these have 16gig of ram!

 

I think that there are those who are loyal to using Mac as their productivity machine, those who are loyal to using iPad as their productivity machine, and those who use both in tandem for various needs. I think Apple recognizes that expanding iPad’s capabilities, while still keeping it true to what a user expects from a tablet, best serves all of those user groups.

M1, and future “M” chips, shouldn’t really mean anything in terms of Mac coming to iPad; It’s just one less chip (“X” series chip) Apple has to make that has been specific to iPad or iPad Pro.

Got the 4 pack and 1 apple keychain for my keys and two Belkin ones for the dogs. The fourth one I’ll put in my gym bag i guess or maybe Kaitie’s purse or bike? Idk

 

Bought myself a 4 pack and a Belkin and Apple key ring (release the California Poppy colour, you cowards) and also same for my mother as a Mother’s Day present so she can stop panicking about where she left her keys/wallet

Interestingly the Hermes key rings and bag tags appear to have mostly sold out in Australia within half an hour of going up

Is it possible to make a playlist in Apple Music that allows say my partner to add songs to it? I feel like this was hyped when it first came out as a potential feature, but I’ve never seen it ?

 

My wife surprised me and said out loud that she wanted the purple iPhone. So we pre-ordered that last night.

 

Fun fact: mkbhd claims the purple iPhone 12 is to commemorate Steve Jobs’ death 10th anniversary, as his favorite color was purple.
