Yeah if anything Ginger was safe. The Light songs on this are extremely personal, and heavy. Wouldn’t call them safe.

I'm speaking more musically than lyrically, a lot of the new album just blends together to me and feels like "hey look we can sound like saturation again, are you happy yet!?!"

Never got Brockhampton. Not that there’s anything to get, I just find them a bit average. Not good or bad. Just not for me.

He’s not actually that new anymore, the first Ratking album came out in 2012!

Good point, I’ve never really given the Ratking material much attention so I tend to overlook it.

So It Goes is excellent, I’d definitely recommend it. They had another one that came out after, but was only released via BitTorrent and isn’t on streaming. Worth tracking down, though. Both are just as good as Wiki’s solo stuff IMO

Is the Wiki/Your Old Droog tape good? I’m sure it is

I personally get a little turned off by their branding, which I know is unfair

I adored the first Wiki solo album and I think Mayor is one of the best songs of that decade, but the second album did absolutely nothing for me because of its production, which to me at the time felt very different from NMiM. Maybe I should give it another shot.

Cordae dropped four songs as a teaser for his upcoming album and they're all REAL good imo. I liked his debut a lot but I think he's got some really amazing shit in him

New Evidence. Produced By The Alchemist. My favourite combination.

I always tell myself I want to dig deeper into Snoop's catalog, but he has SO MANY albums and so many of them are a full hour plus runtime, it's daunting. I've listened to the early key albums a few times, and know most of the important singles, but there's still so much more
