It's the sad reality now that for the medium sized Prem clubs upwards, the stadium (legacy?) fans are not powerful enough to put the owners off. Realistically, it's very difficult to make the home ground so unpleasant that the team can't feasibly play there any more and since the bulk of the income comes from TV rights, the lost sales in tickets isn't that big of a deal.

On top of that, who is going to come in and be your gilded saviour who isn't just going to be another shit? The clubs are so obscenely valued now that it really lowers the prospects of getting a decent owner.

 

Yeah I hate the Glazers and would love if they sold the club but realistically there is no one that isn’t just as bad, if not worse who could afford to buy United.

 

The United Class of '92 should put their insane fortunes together and buy United.
