I think I like the Scott and Rivers version better.

 

Okay officially ready for them to go away for a few years and come back again. Everything since White has been not great to very bad.

Every time someone says Pacific Daydream is bad, I only grow stronger

 

A couple more listens and this song really grew on me. The chorus reminds me so much of an 80s song that I cant put my finger on.

Ok how could someone make Weezer slander like that??? OK Human is their best album since Maladroit, and Van Weezer is shaping up to be a lot of fun.

 

okay but pacific daydream actually is bad

i’ve come around to black being decent. ok human is fantastic.

 

I’m in the camp that Black is criminally underrated.

Don’t get me wrong. Not saying it’s great.

But it is not nearly as bad as people make it out to be.

 

it has strong songwriting and melodies but the production more often than not hinders the songs

 

Black is pretty good. Pacific Daydream is quite a bit better though.

 

The members of Asia are credited on the song. Might be one of theirs.

 

PD would make for a pretty good EP if the first four tracks were removed

and OK Human is great.

 

I only like about half of Black

 

I love the first half of Pacific Daydream. Ya’ll crazy.

 

Most of PD is soooooooo soooooo soooo much better than black.

But then stuff like the last 3 tracks could have easily just been on black

weekend woman and sweet Mary are top tier Weezer

 

it’s their worst album

I will fight to the death for Get Right

And Any Friend of Diane's is damn good too.

 

if you listen to enough pacific daydream, you get what you fucking deserve
