Think she’ll do her version of This Is What You Came For? I’ve always been curious what it would’ve sounded like.

If Fearless stays at #1 for another week, Taylor will have sole possession of third place for most weeks ever at #1 on the Billboard 200. She's currently tied with Garth Brooks (52 weeks) and just broke a tie with MJ (51).

Taylor could even top Elvis for second place (67) by the time she releases all six alternative versions, depending on how many weeks each of these stay at #1. The Beatles however, would require her to have this successful of a career all over again. They are at 132 weeks at #1.

Other milestones to look out for with the release of each of Taylor's Version:
Most Number One Albums: Would tie Jay-Z for second all time with 14 #1s if the remaining five debut at #1 and Jay-Z releases nothing over the next two years. The Beatles would still be far away with 19 #1 albums.

Most Number One Albums in a Calendar Year: Record is four by The Monkees. Taylor currently has two #1 albums this year (Evermore/Fearless). Odds are she'll release two more versions before year's end to tie this record. Could she put out 3 more to own the record herself?

Most Consecutive Number Ones: Tied with Kanye for third place with nine #1s. Eminem has 10 and Jay-Z owns the record with 11. Taylor seems destined to destroy this record in 2022.

Most Consecutive Debuts at Number One: Tied with Kanye for second place with nine. Eminem owns the record with 10. Pending a new Eminem release this year, Taylor should own the record by year's end.

Yeah, I would not be surprised if she does something along those lines. A tip of the hat to the artists who recorded the songs.

If “I’d Lie” isn’t on the Self Titled, I riot.

I feel like self titled has so much to pick from for vault songs, there's so many demos from around then and earlier

This just shows how out of touch I am, I literally had no idea Drake had this many songs. I can only think of 2?

Drake’s entire albums usually chart on release week. That’s not just his singles.

Drake's albums are also like 30 songs long.

Per DeuxMoi there are just two more re-recordings coming out this year

  11. Yeah makes sense. I think 1989 in the summer and then another one in the fall/winter.

"Untouchable" really is an underrated track, huh? I'll admit that this album has me re-discovering it, as I never really listened much to the bonus tracks much til now

Anyone ever heard this fan edit of "Better Man"? Sounds like a mashup of the LBT version and the Bluebird live take. Pretty cool to hear!

The most amazing thing about that is original Fearless not being one of the charting albums. Her plans truly are working.

I haven’t looked, but did she get all of the non-TV Fearless taken off her profiles on all the streaming sites?

  23. irthesteve

    formerly irthesteve Prestigious

Nah, she didn't. And honestly, I am pretty sure she doesn't have the ability to. Big Machine still has the rights to exploit "Fearless" by Taylor Swift, so it is still a Taylor Swift release.

I was reading somewhere that she actually could refuse mechanical rights and therefore get them off Spotify. But I also feel like she wouldn’t do that to her fans either?

Obviously I don't know shit about shit, haha, but I feel like if that was true she would have already done it. Fans can always listen to their physical copies, but she totally would take them off streaming if she could. Same goes for that live clear channel EP from a couple years ago, if she had the ability to block it's release, she would have
