Chelsea and City have the most immediately to lose re: UCL semifinals.

Madrid is clearly a driving force here, so I think they're committed.

I'm guessing UEFA have come up with an even fancier package to save the Champions League?

This is what I keep coming back to. I understand why clubs without these types of owners are scrambling to compete/making bad business decisions leading to debt to compete... but then they all banded together and invited the clubs causing the problem to the party.

  8. Yep. Saw something about more money coming from CL. It’s what these clubs wanted and now they get it after being assholes.

As much as I loathe City and Chelsea’s owners, at least they care about the success of the teams. The Glazers wouldn’t give a fuck if we were playing friendlies all season against any old team if they were making more money from it.

  10. All of these clubs deserve to be shamed even if they all back out.

Florentino is going on a different late night Spanish talk show tonight. Should be spicy.

Genuinely can't remember the last time they even acknowledged the club, let alone had their interests at heart. At least Roman goes to the games regularly.

Joel, who is running this from our end hasn’t been at a game in over two years. I’m pretty sure the last time any of them acknowledged the club was when a couple of them sold shares in it recently.

What a right old fucking mess this has been. You have to wonder what they thought would happen? The fans to fold over and say “fuck you, got mine” to the rest of the footballing world?
