Well well well, this should be interesting to watch. I mean, I think it's fake, BUT it's definitely not outside the realm of possibility for Sony to do something like this. I would absolutely not be surprised if they did this because they felt threatened by Microsoft. In fact, I think they would easily pay the money to make this deal happen if it kept people coming back to their platforms and thinking PlayStation was the "Resident Evil" machine.

 

If true, that would be exceptionally petty even for Sony, but especially the resolution cap lol
