I only get to watch dodgers games on Friday and Saturday so I’m glad that was a game I got to watch

 

also I’m buying mlb 21 and this will be my first mlb in a long time and I’m excited to be a horrible pitcher drafted by the a’s probably

 

ngl it seems like they made RTTS much much worse

I only play online but that’s the vibe I get from the mlbtheshow subreddit

 

Yikes just read through the RTTS thread on Reddit. Glad I didn’t blind buy it yesterday that sounds terrible. How disappointing.

 

I'll have to read up on that RTTS stuff before (hopefully) it comes to Switch next year. I'm still playing '14 Show on my Vita haha

 

I haven’t played a the show game since 16 because I never got a PS4, so I would imagine RTTS has been much improved since then and will be a treat for me even if everyone else hates it lol

 

yikes I might just play the free version on Xbox then or buy an older version for my PlayStation

 

If I’m understanding it correctly, in game grinding and training or whatever will only get your stats to around like 50 or so. To advance them further requires micro transactions so it’s not particularly fun to play if you aren’t willing to spend actual money. And apparently you create a player that’s attached to your online profile when you start the game and can only use that player in career type modes so no more running concurrent franchises or RTTSs

 

What can we really expect from a game that gave Brandon Nimmo, current league leader in OBP, a 71 overall?

Tyler Glasnow looks to be working through one serious cramping issue.

 

He’s working through one serious handsome issue too

 

Despite not being able to find a consistent release point and other delivery issues, Tyler still managed to strikeout 7 and give up a single run. Legit battled to make it through 5 innings (again, Cash putting trust in him and not pulling him in situations that he would have a year ago).
